UKZN Extended Learning Launches First Nursing Course. UKZN Extended Learning launched its inaugural Anaesthesiology course on June 23, 2016. This three-day program emerged from a collaboration between UKZN Extended Learning, Piramal Health Care, and the UKZN College of Health Sciences. The initiative aimed to provide comprehensive training for Health Care Practitioners, enhancing their expertise in anaesthesia and resuscitation through simulated modules.

The primary goal of the Anaesthesiology course was to equip Health Care Practitioners with advanced knowledge and practical skills. The course covered a range of topics through simulated modules, including:
