The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Student Command presented a list of demands to UKZN management, primarily focusing on immediate disbursement of NSFAS funding allowances and an extension of the registration date.

NSFAS Allowances
The university is actively seeking clarity from NSFAS regarding the payment of allowances and registration dates. Meanwhile, preparations for book allowance payments are underway, with the first payment date to be communicated soon.
Registration Progress
Registrations for undergraduate students have progressed well, with enrollment targets for First Time Entering students and returning undergraduates being achieved. The institution is confident that most students will complete their registration on time.
