Service Details

The intercampus shuttle caters to UKZN registered students and staff traveling between Howard College and Westville Campuses for academic-related activities. The route permit granted to the service provider, Ikhwezi Bus Service (Pty) Ltd, allows pickups and dropoffs only at Gate 8 Howard College Campus and at Joosub Hall (Main Hall) and Makhabane bus stop on the Westville campus. Commuters must present their student or staff card to board the bus; failure to do so will result in denial of boarding.

Guidelines and Protocols

Commuters are urged to arrive promptly at the bus stop, maintain orderliness during boarding, and adhere to all COVID-19 protocols. Disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited as it violates traffic laws and jeopardizes the safety of staff, students, and the service provider.
