The Birth of The Exposition At UKZN

Boyce embarked on her writing journey during her time at UKZN, conceptualizing The Exposition during her third year of study. The anthology is a culmination of her poetic endeavors, meticulously crafted and edited over several months. Drawing inspiration from her personal encounters, as well as the literary works she delved into during her postgraduate studies, the anthology delves into themes of growth, self-love, empowerment, and healing.

UKZN Impact and Aspirations

In discussing her aspirations, Boyce expresses her elation at achieving her childhood dream of becoming a published author. “I’m in a state of bliss about becoming a published author. It has been my dream from a very young age and I feel blessed and grateful that it has come true, especially in my youth,” she exclaims.

Looking ahead, Boyce envisions expanding her literary repertoire with another anthology of poetry, serving as a sequel to The Exposition. Currently employed as a social media content writer at Muse Libra, a creative agency, she continues to nurture her creativity through blogging and crafting during her leisure time.
