The School currently boasts a total of 4,462 registered students, comprising 3,635 undergraduates and 827 postgraduates (honours, masters, and doctoral). This enrollment represents 9.3% of all students at the University and 20.2% within the College of Humanities.

Student and Staff Statistics

The School’s undergraduate student to permanent staff ratio is 67.31, significantly higher than other schools in the College of Humanities. With 68 permanent staff members, including 57 academics (61% women) and 11 professional support staff (100% women), the School maintains a diverse and accomplished team.
